Oct 2 Posting – Just a reminder:
Cohort B will be with me on Monday (10-5) for a focus on Chapters 2 and 3 (Providing Feedback and Recognition). Be sure to bring your textbook and your notes from Chapter 1. Remember that you have a Reading Reflection due when we meet. You will not need your netbooks, but if you would like to bring them we will see if you can login to the wireless network. We will meet in the same classsroom as usual – HEC Room 2008.
Cohort A will be Hands-On “Classroom Performance Sytems (CPSS)” with Cheryl Berry in HEC Room 2006. Just bring something with which to take notes if necessary.
Have a great weekend…See you Monday.

Fall Meetings begin 9-14-09 at USCU in the Health Education Complex (building 26 on this Campus Map). Cohort A will be in the Grad Class (Room 2008), and Cohort B will be in a Hands-On Workshop (Room 2009). You are reminded that a “Reading Reflection” for the Introduction (p. 1-14) and for Section 1 (p. 15 – 33) is due the first meeeting of the Grad Class for each Cohort ( Cohort A – due 9/14, Cohort B – due 9/21) [Textbook - Using Technology With Classroom Instruction That Works]
Just to clarify…There is no set length for the “Reading Reflection” assignment. However, a page or so should be sufficient (more or less depending on the person and verbiage). We will have approximately 5 “Reading Reflections” throughout the course for a total of 20% of your grade. I expect them to be turned in via hardcopy the day of our meeting (Cohort A – 9/14, Cohort B 9/21). I will include the grading rubric from the syllabus below . Let me know if you have any further questions. The first “Reading Reflection” should cover the Introduction and Chapter 1.
